i hear you. i have zero friends and i still need to use whatsapp because it's used for everything. if you don't have whatsapp you might as well use a phone without a simcard.
it's a bit ironically funny too because this place's one of the very few countries where you can actually say that the consensus is that israel is bad, i.e., you will never get into any trouble supporting palestine (good) [but also the country as a whole is kinda antisemitic about it (bad) (like, silly shit like, everything modern is "western" and everything western is the jews. your phone? jews. burgers? jews)]
