When I was like 12 I saw an advertisement for the then upcoming tv show steven universe and thought to myself oh this is what it's like to be too old to be the target demographic of a cartoon.

actually steven universe is good and for grown up adults like me and it's cool to watch it and not embarassing, hate to break it to you.

I mean I was 12 most of my decisions were not great at the time but it was a potent moment.
