i think sometimes people should mind their own business

i'm a person and i have a personal life and i'm tired of being treated like i'm not. i don't want someone i barely know to know everything about me, especially when its going to be used to harass me based on conclusions they pulled out of their ass. i feel like i have to be on edge all the time to avoid providing any possible ammo to be used against me

people on the internet have ludicrous expectations about the level of detail theyre entitled to about other people and it should stop. its actually not normal to be able to know everything about someone who you have never spoken to or interacted with based on their profile/posts.
