I had a dream where I was watching a film. There were people being investigated for a murder and it was doing overlapping flashbacks for all the interviews Rashomon-style.

But it was also doing different testimonies in different styles, directed as if they were different genres or from different eras (I have been watching Wandavision, yes).

Simon Pegg was one of the interviewees and in his narration he mentions noticing a mirror to his left as he walked in a door, but when the camera panned the mirror was an old faux wood panelled CRT TV turned on its side showing the same scene from one of the other perspectives.

I don't remember much other details other than Simon Pegg was a bit of a Keyser Söze figure and turned out to be the murderer. Sorry for spoilers.
