I like to try to find out about the history of the train and route, especially if it's an older train. Idk if it's the same everywhere, but where I am each car will have a unique number, so it's possible to trace the history of the particular car you're sitting in, when it was built and renovated and such.

On my android phone (all android phones?) the tab count is replaced with a ":D" smiley when you reach triple digits. I usually try to stay in the 80-99 tab range, but at the moment I'm solidly into :D territory.

596 is beyond my wildest dreams.

Safety razor shaving is awful IMO, but it's somehow better than the alternatives. Are you using canned shaving cream? It should work fine, but shaving got way easier for me when I got a soap and brush.

(I have a synthetic brush from Mühle, from what I can tell it ought to be just as good as any badger brush. It was pretty cheap when I bought it too.)

Those festivals ain’t my thing. Elon Musk keeps trying to get me to go to Burning Man. No thank you.

tbh I think it's a bit of sad that these old games are losing their mystique. The idea that there are ancient, forgotten tricks is very appealing, in a romantic way.

On the other hand, I really like the current collaborative optimization efforts, illustrated in their best shape in the recent super mario bros 4-2 progression video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1AHCaokqhg

In "King of Kong", Billy Mitchell is the mean villain who seems to get away with anything while Steve Wiebe is the unfairly maligned underdog.
