i mean its not the savior of anime or anything but its got a few funny jokes and some good adaptations of gags from the comic but it also has some obnoxious things and leans a little too hard into "bad on purpose" in a couple places imo

"bad on purpose" I think is the wrong way to describe it. part of what makes some parts so funny is the lengths they go for a gag.

given how many jokes they make about the anime/manga being bad i dont think that "bad on purpose" is really such a stretch to describe it, but i do take your point.

As good as those clips are they're even funnier in the context of the show. It's such a weird and cool mix.
