I don't know why someone came here to post about other websites that I hadn't heard of, or talk about Tor in ways that sound sketchy

We're not a free speech zone or an anti-free speech zone I'm just here to post about anime. I know nothing about online security except what the lock on a browser does and to use a VPN for piracy. I just want to post with friends online and if you want to post too and make new friends that's cool but idk what they're doing arguing all the time lol

i regret engaging with that mess. next time i believe there's an issue with something here, i will alert admins in private instead of muddying the waters. thanks, and sorry.

tbh it's always a tough decision whether to provide rebuttals at risk of feeding potential trolls. i almost did myself lol

Your posts were really good, don't feel bad about it at all! I almost didn't remove it just because I didn't want to get rid of the posts.

Feel free to contact us at any time, but don't stress out about it either. I personally check the site every day and would have seen it, and holly noticed it first. Not a big issue, I just wanted to make a post about it!

Edit: oh god the original post sounds directed at you it was not, I've edited that lol

I missed the Tor thing and I care a lot about online security. It's a real shame that the increase in interest in decentralized / federated communities is in part attributed to alt-right trolls.

Anyways yeah I'm glad this isn't a ~free speech zone~. Ever try to moderate a community while holding a stringint free-speech absolutist line??? It's a tough and stressful and unrewarding task for an unpaid volunteer! And then you get lawsuits or whatnot.
