and you procrastinate working on it cause it sounds annoying and hard to do, and you want to make it as short as possible so you don't have to DEAL with it, and then you start actually writing it and wind up getting into it and enjoying the process and then suddenly your god damn nightmare sequence is over a thousand words long all by itself
it almost certainly kills the pacing but I don't care, I'm having fun, this is for me
