does anyone else habitually highlight text while reading it?

Or is that just me? Like some times I'll highlight a paragraph while reading it, or sometimes i'll just highlight up and down idly.

Pinknews is a neat site for me because they have some sort of code that changes the highlight color of every paragraph.

yea i do this all the time and its bad with some webpages that like popup stuff when you select. also i usually scroll by hitting spacebar and a ton of sites now have little popover menus over some of the page, and so spacebar scrolls a full page when it should really scroll a page minus the menu height if that makes sense

ya i'll double click paragraphs as i read them. not sure if it actually does anything to help or hurt my Reading Experience but i do it anyway

i do it for more asthetic reasons when I am editing or reading a piece of text REALLY HARD so it looks like i am doing more and am a keyboard wizard/witch

I think this is a pretty good reason that can't be criticized, anything that makes computing less dorky is good in my book.
