Recommend me some short stories in the public domain!

I wanna mess about with audio recording and narration while I work on some original fiction I want to record. So please suggest short stories or short texts that you think are cool or you'd like to hear narrated and maybe I will record them and even more maybe you will get to hear them sometime.
