Once Titled, then lost Title

If a free person is chained
And the prisoner is free
Do we live in a society

I am a Word, a combination of letters
There is no feel that corresponds to me
And many feels no words correspond to

Foul smelling breath is the only thing
that is appreciably worsened
by the addition of chocolate aroma

Think of the irony how phones are smart
 yet people are dumb.
